Purpose Statement

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is responsible for running the Prerona organization. This includes overseeing the development and execution of Prerona projects, accountability for financials and being the face of the organization to the public domain. The CEO is also expected to liaise between the Governing Body, the Advisory Council & Prerona.

Key Accountabilities

• Liaise between Governing Body of the foundation, Advisory Council and Prerona Foundation.
• Develop and maintain relationship with key external stakeholders
• Work as the Governing Authority of Prerona.
• Undertake & assign projects/ programmes in alignment with the purpose of Prerona Foundation.
• Oversee success/ performance of all projects undertaken by the Foundation.
• Establish self in the public domain as the Face of Prerona.
• Oversee all financials – expenditure, revenue, donations etc. of all programmes/ projects and overheads of Prerona Foundation, as an entire entity.

Qualifications/ Profile

• Master’s degree mandatory. Preferred: Development studies, Economics, Management background
• Experience in working in the development sector in Bangladesh
• Experience in working with Bangladesh government and/ or government affiliated organizations preferred.
• International exposure in development sector will be considered as added advantage
• ~15 years (minimum) of work experience in relevant area.
