Purpose Statement

The Project Manager is expected to develop, resource and execute the Farmer Sustainability project under the supervision of the CEO. He is also accountable for preparing the project business case to be approved by the Governing Body. He is expected to work closely with the PR & Comms team to design the public domain narrative of the project/ programme.

Key Accountabilities

  • Define project scope & design operational plan.
  • Define the resource requirement for the planning and implementation of the project. Requirement need to be defined for both people & financial resources; i.e. no. of people & total budget requirement.
  • Hire project team members in coordination with the Admin Manager
  • Successful implementation/ execution of the project within budget and timeline.
  • Manage the performance of project team members.
  • Design public domain narrative for the project.

Qualifications/ Profile

  • Education: Minimum bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Development Studies or relevant fields
  • Work experience in agriculture development sector
  • Preferable work experience with NGO/ UN
  • 5+ years (minimum) of work experience in relevant area
